Former lead singer of the Christian band Audio Adrenaline, Mark Stuart, recently expressed interest in using artificial intelligence to recreate his voice for future musical releases.
Stuart, who stepped away from singing in Audio Adrenaline after losing his voice years ago, shared a recent Instagram video in which he discussed AI while standing outside an In-N-Out Burger in Franklin, Tenn.
“Listen, so we’re talking about making an Audio A record, you know, using my voice, doing an AI thing,” Stuart said. “A lot of people are commenting. But, you know, it could be fun. We might try it, who knows?”
Additionally, he also reunited with a former bandmate, Ben Cissell, who jokingly submitted his resume to serve as the band’s drummer once again.
“They always say like, ‘Dress for the job that you want.’ Right now, it looks like I want to be the business manager, but I would actually like to be the drummer of Audio Adrenaline again,” Cissell, who appeared in the video alongside Stuart, said
He also joked that he brought references, including bringing photos of his time in the band, and surprised Stuart, who still remembered him.
“Anyway, what do you guys think? Should we do this? I don’t know, it would be fun,” Stuart said.
“It would be a lot of fun,” Cissell replied.
No official recording plans, release date, or additional band members have been announced at the present time.
Audio Audrelanie, which formed in 1986, signed with Forefront Records in 1991, and Stuart fronted the band as lead singer until he stepped down in 2007 due to spasmodic dysphonia, which affected his voice. Following Stuart’s departure, Kevin Max of DC Talk fronted the band from 2013-2014, followed by Adam Agee of Stellar Kart in 2015, but has since taken over as the vocalist of the Newsboys after its previous singer, Michael Tait, was found to have engaged in sexual assault.
Audio Adrenaline was a prominent Christian rock band in the 1990s and early 2000s, known for hits such as “Big House,” “Ocean Floor,” “Hands and Feet,” “Some Kind of Zombie” and “Get Down.”
