The coronavirus pandemic has has a tremendous impact on our world. It's impacted everything, and has also left a huge mark on the church. As our pastors navigate masks, reopening, and the health and safety of their congregation (along with numerous other issues) they are likely feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. In times like these, it is more important than ever to lift up our pastors in prayer.
Disagreements, irritation, and even anger at our spouse don’t have to be relationship killers. When we are open to God’s leading in our hearts through our marriage relationship, He can (and will) use those times of conflict to help us grow and become more like Him.
Satan will use anxiety to stop you from living the full life God has for you. It is through prayer that we surrender our worries to God and receive His peace. We have gathered our favorite prayers for anxiety. Keep these close to you and pray in the moments you begin to feel overwhelmed.
Strongholds are present in our lives because we seek comfort, success, and peace through the perceived remedy of worldly attainments and desires. The more we attempt to lessen the draw of addictions by our own means and power, the more the bondage attaches to our soul. The only true release of Satan’s strongholds is found in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
When we trust omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, almighty God, he will lead, guide, and direct us. God stands ready with a spiritual hedge of protection to shield us from the world and to keep us from letting the world seep into our life.
Christians must go beyond their words of "my thoughts and prayers are with you," and demonstrate care with action. The goal should be to help people not feel alone in their trial. This is how we demonstrate God’s love to one another.
