James Woods Talks Faith, “The Hearts of Men” & His New Album The Killer’s Wife

Award-winning actor, producer and songwriter James Woods joins GodTube Music to talk about his new single, “The Hearts of Men,” arriving September 25, and his upcoming album The Killer’s Wife, due October 9.

Woods shares how Matthew 24 inspired the new song, why biblical themes continue to find their way into his writing, and how songwriting has opened an entirely new creative chapter after decades in film and television. He also explains the remarkable true-life experience that inspired the fictional story behind The Killer’s Wife and its central battle between good and evil.

Woods also takes us inside his songwriting process with Bob Wayne and four-time GRAMMY winner Shooter Jennings, discusses recording with real musicians at Sunset Sound without AI or Auto-Tune, and reflects on what he believes keeps our hearts from growing cold in difficult times.
