Walking in the Light

Marriage is the second most important decision that a person will make in their entire life!

The first, of course, is our belief in Jesus Christ and surrender to Him.

This topic of marriage has been in my heart for years, and I have seen church after church neglect this vital subject.

After over 40 years of research, I wrote a book on the subject titled God’s Design for Marriage. The cover is a picture of a jigsaw puzzle with scripture citations on each piece. The idea is that God paints pictures on different subjects in the Bible, but it takes us to put the pieces together to see each of our Heavenly Father's beautiful paintings.

A companion book, Wedding Planner & Counseling, was written to present the material in a teaching format after you have read God’s Design for Marriage. It can be used in three ways. It can be used by a couple planning to get married to help them understand what marriage is all about. The book can also serve as a guide for a counselor working with a group or an individual planning to marry. The third way is for an adult to teach a young person about marriage before their hormones kick in, to build a foundation to base their future decisions on.
